As part of ELC’s commitment to supporting Black-owned businesses and doubling our Black-owned business spend by 2023, Estée Lauder has launched a new Supplier Inclusion & Diversity registration portal where prospective diverse or small businesses can register to be included in ELC’s database of potential suppliers.
As an inclusive and diverse company, ELC is focused on broadening purchasing choices to enhance the representation of diverse and small businesses in our supplier base and drive economic development.
Supplier Inclusion & Diversity
Ensuring supplier diversity is an important component of our approach. As an inclusive and diverse company, we are focused on broadening our purchasing choices to better support suppliers representing LGBTQIA+, veterans, ethnic minorities, and people with disabilities, among other populations. Additionally, we have placed a specific focus on women- and Black-owned businesses. Our objective is to help drive economic development and growth of diverse and small businesses in the supplier base.
We belong to several advocacy organizations to continue our learning and grow our diverse supplier network, including:
- Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC), the largest certifier of women-owned businesses in the U.S. and a leading advocate for women business owners and entrepreneurs.
- National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC), collaborates with more than 12,000 certified minority-owned businesses and a vast network of corporate members to support and facilitate Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) integration into supply chains and to build MBE capabilities through programs and education offerings.
- WEConnect International, connects women-owned businesses with diverse opportunities by enabling them to compete in a global marketplace and enhancing their capabilities to transact business internationally.
If you are a small or diverse business and interested in becoming an ELC supplier, register your business. By submitting your information, you will be entered into our database of potential suppliers. If we have an opportunity related to your submission, we will contact your organization for further information. A submission to the database does not guarantee a business opportunity.
