How to write the ® R,™ TM, © C symbols?
If you want to use the symbols, simply copy and paste each symbol into your documents
™ – stands for a trademark;
® – stands for a registered trademark;
© – stands for copyright.
That’s so you can easily copy and paste tm, R and C.
When to use ® R,™ TM, © C symbols?
® R Symbol, means that your trademark is registered. If you have a registered trademark in any country you can use the registered ® symbol after your business name such as ie ‘Gap Kids®’ If your business is not registered on a trademark board, then you cannot use the registered R mark.
™ TM Symbol, means that you are informing others that the word is your own trademark, also used primarily when you have common law rights. Often, the ™ symbol will be used, when you are in the process of obtaining the Registered ® symbol, or when a new product is released and you have yet to file to protect your brand, you can include ™ on your brand products in the meantime.
© C Symbol, means that you are the owner of your creation, whether that be written or produced.
