Hudson’s Bay, commonly known as The Bay, is a chain of high-end department stores in Canada. Historically, the Hudson’s Bay Company was a fur trading business, involved in the fur trade and exploring much of Canada’s undeveloped territory. Over time, it diversified into retail, with department stores being a significant part of its focus in the 20th and 21st centuries.
