Amorepacific is using CES 2026 in Las Vegas to cement its position in beauty tech. It is unveiling Skinsight™, an “electronic skin” platform honored in the Beauty Tech category, alongside an AI-powered skin analysis and care ecosystem built with Samsung Electronics. Together, these launches show how Amorepacific is shifting from traditional skincare to data-driven, diagnostics-based “longevity beauty” solutions.

Skinsight: electronic skin for real-time aging insights

At CES 2026, Amorepacific is debuting Skinsight™, recognized as a CES 2026 Innovation Award Honoree in Beauty Tech. This marks the company’s seventh consecutive year of Innovation Award recognition. Co-developed with a Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) research group, Skinsight™ is described as a next-generation “electronic skin.” It analyzes real-time skin-aging signals and predicts aging patterns to deliver personalized care recommendations.

A thin sensor patch applied directly to the skin measures multiple aging factors influenced by the exposome and lifestyle. AI algorithms then translate this data into tailored skincare guidance and solutions. Because it can track skin changes across different environments, Skinsight™ is positioned as both a diagnostic and continuous-monitoring platform. It will be showcased at the Innovation Awards Showcase at the Venetian Expo.

AI Beauty Mirror and at-home devices

Beyond Skinsight™, Amorepacific is highlighting an AI-powered skin analysis and care solution. It’s integrated into Samsung Electronics “AI Beauty Mirror.” Using camera-based optical diagnostics, the system precisely analyzes pore condition, redness, pigmentation, and wrinkles. It then recommends personalized routines based on a dataset of more than 450,000 cases of skin data.

The results feed into Amorepacific’s makeON devices, including the ONFACE LED Mask, equipped with 3,770 micro red LEDs, and Skin Light Therapy 3S. These are personalized daily-use skincare devices designed to deliver improvements. This closed-loop setup—diagnostics, recommendation, and device-based treatment—expands into richer beauty experiences. These include product suggestions and step-by-step skincare guidance, with the solution featured inside Samsung’s exclusive exhibit at Wynn and Encore Las Vegas.

Vision of holistic longevity beauty

Amorepacific frames these launches as part of a broader pivot toward “holistic longevity” in beauty. This approach focuses on predicting, managing, and extending skin health over time. It emphasizes treating surface-level concerns. Hyojung Joo, Head of Digital Strategy Division at Amorepacific, said, “Amorepacific aims to lead the global beauty and wellness industry with holistic longevity solutions. Building on the innovative technologies and products showcased at CES, we will continue to deliver integrated beauty experiences to customers worldwide.”

By pairing MIT research, Samsung’s device and display platforms, and its own beauty hardware under makeON, Amorepacific is positioning itself at the intersection of diagnostics, AI, and at-home devices. In a CES year where multiple beauty giants lean into personalization and health-span, Skinsight™ and the AI Beauty Mirror ecosystem signal Amorepacific’s ambition to compete not just as a K-beauty powerhouse, but as a science-led tech player in the global beauty market.
