Golden Goose has brought its Younique Caffè concept to Italy for the first time, opening a new café destination in Milan‘s historic Brera neighborhood. The space, located at Via Cusani 4, steps away from the brand’s original flagship store, marks a significant move into Italy‘s food and beverage scene and deepens Golden Goose‘s broader vision of retail as a place for community, creativity, and culture.
A Concept Born From Italian Roots
The Younique Caffè draws directly from the soul of the classic Italian bar while layering in a contemporary twist. The interior blends warm wood finishes with modern steel details, creating what the brand describes as an urban sanctuary where inspiration flows freely. From fine Italian pastry to specialty coffee, every detail is crafted for the brand’s community, shaped with local creatives and tastemakers.
The café operates as more than a coffee stop. It doubles as a listening room and gathering space, with a weekly events calendar that includes Thursday Joy Club aperitivo sessions and Sunday Sounds morning DJ sets to close out the week with energy.
While this marks Golden Goose‘s debut in the Italian food and beverage space, the Younique Caffè format already has an established footprint across Asia, with locations in Bangkok, Seoul, Xiamen, Hangzhou, and Nanchino. Milan now becomes the first European and Italian home for the concept, a fitting choice given the city’s role as the brand’s origin point. The adjacent Golden Goose flagship on Via Cusani was the brand’s very first store, opened in 2013, and has since evolved into a space that also houses a sneaker repair and customization lab.
Community Is the Core Strategy
Silvio Campara, CEO of Golden Goose, said, “We always imagine our stores as places for gathering. Younique is a place designed to encourage aggregation, where sharing a coffee or a dessert becomes an opportunity to be together and share your stories.”
That philosophy runs through everything Golden Goose has been building in Milan. Beyond the Younique Caffè, the brand opened the Golden Goose Arena in October 2025, a padel and wellbeing hub in the heart of CityLife featuring nine courts, outdoor lounges, and a wellness café, designed by Novembre Studio and managed by City Padel Milano.
Retail as a Lifestyle Ecosystem
Taken together, the Younique Caffè, the Arena, and the flagship stores paint a clear picture of where Golden Goose is heading. The brand is steadily building a lifestyle ecosystem around its community, one where sneakers, coffee, sport, and culture all live under the same roof or within the same few blocks.
