Mandarin Oriental, Bangkok is marking 150 years in style, tapping cult lifestyle label Sporty & Rich for a limited capsule that turns hotel merch into a fully fledged wellness wardrobe. Framed as the first collaboration of its kind in Asia, the partnership leans into the hotel’s heritage, signature celadon green, and spa‑first mindset to create pieces that feel as collectible as they are comfortable.

A celadon washed anniversary capsule

The Mandarin Oriental x Sporty & Rich 150th Anniversary Capsule Collection spans co branded crew necks, tshirts, pyjama sets, tote bags, caps, and more, all rendered in the hotel’s signature celadon, a new hue for Sporty & Rich and a direct nod to the property’s riverside setting and Thai history. The result is a tight edit of lounge and resort pieces that plug seamlessly into Sporty & Rich’s visual language of wellness and nostalgia, while still reading instantly “Mandarin Oriental” to anyone who has ever walked through the Bangkok lobby or spa.

Positioned as a wellness inspired drop, the capsule ladders into the broader “health conscious luxury” narrative that has made Sporty & Rich a favourite among fashion insiders and off duty celebrities.

Values alignment, not just logo play

This is not a random logo swap. Both Mandarin Oriental, Bangkok and Sporty & Rich are framing the project as a meeting of shared values: a focus on high quality, precision and excellence; a pioneering spirit; and a commitment to sustainability, mindful consumption and social responsibility.

Alex Schellenberger, Chief Brand & Marketing Officer of Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group, said, “We’re delighted to collaborate with Sporty & Rich, and we’re proud of the Mandarin Oriental x Sporty & Rich co-branded anniversary capsule collection. This gives us an opportunity to bring fresh new fashion trends in leisurewear and activewear to our hotel and spa guests.”

For a heritage property celebrating 150 years, backing a young, digitally native brand also sends a clear signal about where it sees future guest engagement coming from.

Retail rollout and where to shop

The capsule is available at Mandarin Oriental, Bangkok, selected Central Group malls in Bangkok, and will land at Mandarin Oriental, New York in March 2026, with worldwide shipping offered via the hotel’s online shop. That distribution strategy pushes the collection beyond on site souvenir into a global lifestyle proposition, giving international guests and fans of Sporty & Rich a way to buy into the hotel’s world without ever checking in.

For hotel and fashion watchers alike, the collaboration crystallises a trend: luxury hospitality is no longer content with branded robes and slippers. By partnering with niche but influential labels like Sporty & Rich, properties such as Mandarin Oriental, Bangkok are building fashion credible capsules that live far beyond the lobby and, crucially, in the everyday wardrobes of a new, wellness driven, logo averse luxury customer.
