Nordstrom Rack to Debut Stores in Exton and Media in Fall 2026

Nordstrom Rack is deepening its off-price footprint in Pennsylvania with two new 30,000-square-foot stores in Exton and Media, both slated to open in fall 2026, strengthening its presence in the greater Philadelphia retail corridor. The expansion taps into high-traffic open-air centers and brings more value fashion options to suburban shoppers while supporting local economic growth across the state.

Two new Nordstrom Rack stores in Pennsylvania

Seattle-based fashion retailer Nordstrom, Inc. plans to open two new Nordstrom Rack locations in Exton and Media in the fall of 2026. Each store will span about 30,000 square feet, adding new off-price fashion, beauty, and home assortments to key suburban hubs in Chester County and Delaware County.

These openings build on Nordstrom’s existing footprint in Pennsylvania, where the company already operates two full-line Nordstrom stores and seven Nordstrom Rack stores, supporting more than 1,000 jobs statewide. The new locations are expected to further increase local employment and expand access to branded fashion at off-price levels for customers across the region.

Exton: Main Street at Exton gets a Rack anchor

In Exton, Pennsylvania, the new 30,000-square-foot Nordstrom Rack will open at Main Street at Exton, a high-traffic shopping center off Route 100 that features retailers like Walmart, Lidl, Barnes & Noble, Michaels, Sephora, Athleta, Old Navy, and Banana Republic. The center is owned and managed by Wolfson Group, Inc., a Pennsylvania-based retail real estate firm with a portfolio of about 4.5 million square feet of commercial space.

Director of Operations David Wolfson said, “The addition of Nordstrom Rack reflects our ongoing commitment to offering the community dynamic and elevated retail options. Known for exceptional value and on-trend style, Nordstrom Rack is a fantastic addition to our tenant mix, development, and the community.”

Media: Promenade at Granite Run adds off-price fashion

In Media, Pennsylvania, the second 30,000-square-foot Nordstrom Rack will open at the Promenade at Granite Run, a redeveloped open-air center located off Baltimore Pike (Route 1) and Middletown Road. The property is owned and managed by BET Investments, whose portfolio spans more than 6 million square feet of commercial space and around 4,000 apartments across the United States.

Michael Markman, President of BET Investments, said, “Nordstrom Rack is a best-in-class tenant that will help round out the exciting tenant mix at the Promenade at Granite Run further enhancing this regional shopping center and its offerings.”, which includes TJ Maxx, Michaels, Kohl’s, Ikea, and Boscov’s. The new store is expected to draw additional traffic to the Promenade, reinforcing the center’s status as a regional shopping destination for value-driven fashion and home goods.

What shoppers can expect from Nordstrom Rack

Nordstrom Rack is the off-price division of Nordstrom, Inc., offering shoppers up to 70% off on-trend apparel, accessories, beauty, home décor, and shoes from many of the same brands carried at full-line Nordstrom stores. The banner is also a major digital and omnichannel access point, giving customers services such as online order pickup for Nordstrom.com and NordstromRack.com, easy returns, and alterations at select locations.

President of Nordstrom Rack Gemma Lionello said, “We look forward to being a part of the Exton and Media communities and serving our customers with an amazing offering of great brands at great prices,” Lionello added that shoppers at the new stores will be able to use convenient services like online order pickup from both Nordstrom.com and NordstromRack.com, along with easy returns.

Expanding Nordstrom’s regional footprint

These two fall 2026 openings continue Nordstrom Rack’s broader expansion strategy, particularly in the Philadelphia region, where additional off-price locations have been announced in South Jersey markets such as Marlton and Deptford. Once Exton and Media are open, Nordstrom Rack will operate a total of nine stores in the greater Philadelphia area alongside existing locations in Center City, King of Prussia, Willow Grove, Cherry Hill, and Langhorne.

For Nordstrom, Nordstrom Rack remains a powerful entry point for new customers, driving traffic across channels and complementing its nearly 400 Nordstrom, Nordstrom Local, and Nordstrom Rack locations and digital platforms. The Exton and Media stores reinforce the retailer’s strategy of pairing off-price access with omnichannel convenience in high-visibility, open-air destinations.
