The Keeping Up With the Kardashians and beauty owner, Kylie Jenner faced backlash over her Kylie Swim line due to poor quality and fit. Launched in August 2021, the swimwear collection received mixed reviews, with many customers taking to TikTok to express their disappointment. Issues such as unfinished stitching, sheer fabric, and see-through swimsuits led to widespread criticism.

In response to the negative feedback, Kylie limited comments on her personal Instagram page and appeared to filter out negative remarks on the Kylie Swim page. However, this did not stop the criticism from spreading on other platforms like Twitter and TikTok. Amid the controversy, Kylie focused on her pregnancy, the birth of her second child in February 2022, and the promotion of her Kylie Baby line.
Documents obtained by The Sun revealed that Kylie's legal team had "abandoned" the trademark for Kylie Swim, with the May 2021 trademark application labeled as "DEAD/APPLICATION/Refused/Dismissed or Invalidated." The reality star has not promoted the brand via social media for some time, and the website has not added any new products recently.

The brand has not posted on any Kylie Swim social media accounts since June 1,2022 post (see above), not even to inform Kylie's fan base on what is going on. Hopefully, Kylie is working on addressing the quality issues with her last swimwear line launch, fans hope that the next collection will offer better quality and value for money.
Despite the setbacks, Kylie is rumored to be relaunch her swimwear line under the shortened name "KSWM," having filed five new trademarks on October 24, 2022. The renamed brand will include new swimsuits, coverups, beach towels, bags, sunglasses, swim goggles, and floaties.
