indē wild is expanding into Sephora U.S., marking a major retail milestone for the Indian beauty brand as it grows beyond its digitally native base. The brand said it launched on Sephora.com on March 3, 2026, followed by an in store debut in 178 select Sephora U.S. doors on March 13, 2026.
A Big Retail Moment
The partnership marks indē wild’s first major prestige retail deal in the United States and follows the brand’s expansion into Sephora UK in late 2024. In the press release, Diipa Büller-Khosla, founder of indē wild, said, “Sephora U.S. marks a defining chapter in indē wild’s evolution from a digitally native community to a global prestige beauty brand.”
She said, “From day one, we built indē wild around the belief that Ayurvedic wisdom and clinical science can coexist in a way that feels both elevated and accessible.” She added, “Bringing Ayurvedistry™ to one of the most influential beauty retailers in the world validates that there is space and demand for culturally rooted brands that deliver real performance.”
Built on Ayurvedistry™
Since launching in 2021, indē wild has built its identity around a blend of traditional Ayurvedic practices and modern cosmeceutical science, a concept the brand calls Ayurvedistry™. On its official site, the company describes its offer as the world’s first Ayurvedic products and says its formulas are clinically proven, award-winning, and tied to 500,000+ skin and hair transformations.
That positioning gives indē wild a clear point of difference on the shelf. It also speaks to a wider retail appetite for brands that pair heritage-led storytelling with modern efficacy claims and accessible daily rituals.facebook+1
Hero Products Lead the Launch
At Sephora, shoppers will find indē wild’s core lineup, including 1% Bakuchiol, 15% Vitamin C Complex, Champi Hair Oil, and the Champi Bond Repair Shampoo and Conditioner. The press release also said the Champi Pre-Wash Treatment Hair Oil is a standout item, with one bottle sold every minute worldwide.
On its global site, indē wild describes the Champi Bond Repair Duo as “Ayurveda meets Biotech in a haircare revolution,” while highlighting actives at optimal %, award-winning formulas, and clinically proven results. That language reinforces the brand’s effort to position hair and skin care as both ritual-driven and performance-focused.
Backed by New Capital and Sephora
The Sephora U.S. launch builds on momentum from a strategic $5 million investment led by Unilever Ventures, alongside SoGal Ventures and True. Rachel Harris, Partner at Unilever Ventures, said, “India and the US are two of the most influential beauty markets today, combining scale, influence and rapid growth and innovation.”
She added, “As one of India’s first homegrown beauty brands to enter major U.S. retail, from an investor standpoint, it’s exciting because brands that can win meaningfully across both markets have significant growth potential.” Brooke Banwart, SVP Skincare Merchandising at Sephora U.S., said, “We’re thrilled to partner with indē wild and introduce their line of results-driven products to our clients.”
