J.Crew Debuts Collection with U.S. Ski & Snowboard After Three-Year Partnership Deal

J.Crew has launched its first collection with U.S. Ski & Snowboard, kicking off a three year partnership that positions the iconic American brand as the official lifestyle apparel partner for the national governing body’s Olympic and Paralympic athletes and their fans. The collaboration fuses alpine performance and après-ski polish through a 26 piece capsule that lands just as snow sports move into the global spotlight ahead of the Winter Games.

Style Meets High Performance On And Off The Mountain

The debut collection sits “at the intersection of style, sport, and community,” with pieces designed for both slopeside leisure and on mountain function. The 26 piece lineup spans refined knitwear, elevated loungewear, and cold weather accessories for women, men and kids, all finished with exclusive vintage inspired patches that nod to classic ski culture.

Chief executive Libby Wadle said, “This partnership is about more than outfitting athletes and fans, it’s about celebrating U.S. Ski & Snowboard’s commitment to athleticism, dedication, and excellence” and using the collection to build excitement around the sport as teams head toward the Winter Games. The drop is timed “ahead of the Olympic season,” inviting audiences everywhere to show their support for U.S. Ski & Snowboard and its athletes through what they wear.

Creative Direction Taps J.Crew Archives

The capsule channels decades of J.Crew mountain heritage under the brand’s current creative leadership. Olympia Gayot, Creative Director of Women’s and Children’s Design, said, “Alpine style has always been part of the J.Crew lifestyle. Drawing from our rich archives, these pieces capture a retro spirit with a modern perspective on fit and color,” explaining that the team drew from the archives to capture a retro spirit with modern fits and color.

On the menswear side, Brendon Babenzien, Creative Director of Men’s, said, “Skiing and snowboarding are becoming increasingly central to culture, and the enthusiasm for snow sports has never been higher,” making this the right moment for a fresh take on classic American winter style. He said the collection honors the shared histories of J.Crew and U.S. Ski & Snowboard while celebrating the elite athletes shaping the future of the sport.

Elite Athletes Front The Campaign

The launch campaign spotlights a roster of athletes to watch, including Stifel U.S. Freeski Team member and Olympic silver medalist Colby Stevenson, Hydro Flask U.S. Snowboard Team rider, Olympian and X Games medalist Hailey Langland, and Stifel U.S. Freeski Team X Games medalist Rell Harwood. It also features Stifel U.S. Alpine Ski Team Olympian and World Cup medalist River Radamus, Stifel U.S. Freestyle Team Olympian and world champion Tess Johnson, and Toyota U.S. Para Snowboard Team Paralympian and two-time world champion Zach Miller.

Sophie Goldschmidt, President and CEO of U.S. Ski & Snowboard, said, “This partnership brings together athletes, fans, and supporters through a shared sense of pride in U.S. Ski & Snowboard”. She said they hope celebrating the passion and spirit behind the sports will inspire the next generation to see themselves on the mountain and believe in what is possible.

Multi Season Collaboration And Performance Capsule

The agreement between J.Crew and U.S. Ski & Snowboard runs over the next three years, with both sides emphasizing a sustained presence designed to build momentum and impact over time. Chairman Kevin Ulrich said, “Our inaugural collection underscores J.Crew’s ability to connect timeless American style with the cultural significance of sport on a global stage”, and that the partners are laying the foundation for a multi season collaboration that will continue to grow in relevance.

Expanding into performance, the partnership also includes a ski capsule with Kappa, U.S. Ski & Snowboard’s official on mountain partner, featuring technical jackets for women and men that blend high performance design with refined mountainside style. As part of its commitment to the community, J.Crew is supporting Share Winter Foundation, which focuses on expanding youth access to skiing and snowboarding and strengthening inclusion across winter sports.

Where To Shop The J.Crew x U.S. Ski & Snowboard Collection

The collection is rolling out in select J.Crew stores across the United States and online at jcrew.com, making it accessible to both hardcore skiers and casual winter style fans. For J.Crew, the tie up deepens its position as an omnichannel destination for modern classics while tapping into the growing cultural pull of snow sports worldwide.

For U.S. Ski & Snowboard, partnering with a mainstream American fashion name offers new lifestyle storytelling around its nearly 240 elite athletes across 10 teams, from alpine and freeski to Para alpine and snowboard, while rallying a broader fan base on the road to the Winter Games.
