Korean Skincare Brand JiYu Expands its U.S. Presence with $6.5M Growth Funding

Korean skincare brand JiYu has raised $6.5 million in growth funding to supercharge its United States expansion, while projecting more than $70 million in annual revenue in 2026. With active operations in Seoul and the United States, JiYu is positioning itself as one of the most talked about K‑beauty players on Amazon and TikTok Shop, built around a science first approach to Korean skincare.

JiYu’s funding round and US growth goals

The new $6.5 million growth round will support JiYu’s acceleration in the U.S. market, including clinical research, product pipeline expansion and deeper investment in its e‑commerce channels. With revenue tracking toward more than $70 million in 2026, the brand is quickly moving from breakout social commerce name to a serious revenue contender in premium K beauty.

“This investment validates the demand for science-backed Korean skincare in the U.S. market. Our focus is building a brand rooted in clinical evidence and ingredient transparency — one that earns consumer trust with every product we launch,” said Jen, Co-Founder, JiYu. The funding will also help the company scale operations between its Aspen, Colorado headquarters and Seoul office, strengthening its Korea first development and U.S. based commercial model.

Rooted in Korea, built for the world

JiYu maintains an R&D and product development hub in Seoul, working directly within South Korea’s advanced beauty manufacturing ecosystem. All formulations are developed, tested, and produced in South Korea in partnership with multiple leading manufacturers whose client lists include some of the world’s most prestigious beauty brands.

This structure gives JiYu access to rare, highly active ingredients, proprietary delivery systems, and rigorous manufacturing standards that many Western brands cannot easily tap into. The brand describes this as a core structural advantage: a Korea first science and supply chain backbone paired with a United States based commercial team that understands Western consumer behavior.

Hero products powered by Korean skincare science

At the center of the lineup are JiYu’s Renewal & Rejuvenation Toner Pads, positioned as one of the most comprehensive multi action toner formats in the mass market. They are powered by K8‑Rejuvenate™, a proprietary complex combining Snail Mucin, Centella Asiatica, Niacinamide, Alpha‑Arbutin, Licorice Root Extract, 3‑O‑Ethyl Ascorbic Acid, and a multi peptide blend, designed to tackle uneven tone, dark spots, fine lines, dullness, and a weakened skin barrier in a single step.

The brand’s second major product, the Anti Aging Moisturizing Cream Powered by NAD+, targets cellular energy metabolism, one of the most closely watched frontiers in anti ageing research. By replenishing NAD+ levels, the formula aims to support cellular repair, boost collagen synthesis, and improve firmness and radiance at the source rather than just the surface.

“Our mission from day one has been uncompromising: source the highest quality active ingredients available in Korea, partner with world-class Korean manufacturers, and formulate products that deliver clinically meaningful results — not just marketing promises.” saying  JiYu’s Korea based Head of Product Development. This dual lens, consumer first problem solving and rigorous scientific formulation, is presented as the brand’s core point of difference.

Investing in clinical research and pipeline expansion

A significant share of the new capital is earmarked for formal clinical studies, with JiYu planning independent, peer reviewed trials on its flagship formulas. The brand frames this as a move beyond anecdotal before and after content toward dermatology grade evidence, setting it apart from typical direct to consumer and K‑beauty competitors.

At the same time, JiYu is expanding its formulation pipeline, with multiple new SKUs in development that maintain a focus on bioactive Korean ingredients, responsible sourcing, and independently verifiable results. These launches are expected to build on the scientific principles behind K8‑Rejuvenate™ and NAD+‑driven skincare, further cementing the brand’s science first positioning.

Fighting counterfeits and protecting consumer trust

Rapid social commerce growth has made JiYu one of the most copied Korean beauty brands on platforms like Amazon and TikTok Shop, prompting a strong stance on authenticity. The company stresses that genuine products are sold only via its official brand stores on those platforms and directly through jiyuskin.com, and it actively monitors and reports unauthorized sellers and counterfeit listings.

Quality assurance protocols are enforced end to end by JiYu’s South Korean manufacturing partners, covering production, packaging and distribution to ensure consistency and safety. By tying its growth strategy to clinical research, ingredient transparency and strict channel control, JiYu is aiming to build long term consumer trust in an increasingly crowded and fast moving K beauty market.
