Neiman Marcus Unveils Exclusive 'Balmain Beach Club'

Luxury retailer Neiman Marcus has once again partnered with legendary French fashion house Balmain to bring its customers a taste of the Côte d'Azur. The exclusive Balmain Beach Club collection, inspired by the glamour and elegance of the French Riviera, features 14 pieces of ready-to-wear and handbags in a summery palette of soft yellows, blues, and whites, accented with Balmain's signature gold details.

This limited-edition collection showcases Balmain's rich heritage. Creative director Olivier Rousteing delved into the brand's archives to revive a stunning baroque print originally designed by founder Pierre Balmain. The elegant motif adorns flowing dresses, bold canvas and leather handbags, and other exquisite pieces, evoking the spirit of luxurious beachside getaways.

"My team and I wanted to keep this special limited-edition collection chic, light and easy for upcoming summer days and evenings," explains Olivier Rousteing, Balmain Creative Director"But, of course, we wanted to ensure that the connection to the house's incredible design history remained evident for those in the know. So, we started out by riffing on some singular archival references—including Monsieur Balmain's beloved Baroque flourishes and the signature Labyrinth motif. Then we mixed in some of the strongest themes that we've sent down our most recent runways, such as an array of eye-catching bright pastels and some unexpected twists on camouflage patterns. And we've ended up with an offering that definitely channels the distinctive modern spirit of today's Balmain."

Neiman Marcus, known for providing unparalleled luxury experiences, offers the Balmain Beach Club collection in 10 select stores, online, and through remote selling channels. The collaboration is part of the retailer's ongoing strategy to revolutionize luxury shopping by curating exclusive, expertly crafted product assortments for its discerning clientele.

Neiman Marcus has created an immersive installation at its Dallas NorthPark store to complement the collection, transporting customers to a lavish beachfront clubhouse. From now through May 5, shoppers can indulge in the ambiance of black and white striped umbrellas, lounge chairs, an ivy-covered pergola, and visual details showcasing the Balmain archive print. This "retail-tainment" experience follows successful activations such as the Barbie x Balmain and Summer Set collections, which have delighted customers in recent years.

"Through the distinctive creative lens of Olivier Rousteing, Balmain continues to be the pinnacle of French style with a modern perspective" said Lana Todorovich, Chief Merchandising Officer, Neiman Marcus. "At our core, we are a relationship business and Balmain Beach Club represents the latest chapter in our longstanding history with the Maison that, time after time, has engaged and delighted our customers."

The partnership between Neiman Marcus and Balmain spans over half a century, with the retailer now boasting the largest assortment of Balmain collections worldwide. In 1955, Pierre Balmain was awarded the prestigious Neiman Marcus Award for Distinguished Service in the Field of Fashion, cementing the enduring relationship between these two iconic brands.

As summer approaches, the Balmain Beach Club collection offers Neiman Marcus customers the opportunity to embrace the effortless chic and timeless allure of the French Riviera. With its expertly curated selection of ready-to-wear and accessories, this exclusive collaboration promises to be a sought-after addition to the wardrobes of luxury fashion enthusiasts everywhere.
