Adidas Originals and Irish designer Simone Rocha have officially revealed their first ever collaboration, debuting on the runway at London Fashion Week on February 22, 2026, as part of Rocha‘s Autumn/Winter 2026 show at the Alexandra Palace Theatre in North London. The partnership merges adidas‘s sporting heritage with Rocha‘s signature romantic universe of bows, ribbons, lace, and pearls across apparel, footwear, accessories, and jewellery.

A 60 Look Show That Said It All

Rocha‘s 60 look A/W 2026 collection fused footballer grit with whimsical feminine flourishes and served as the official collaboration announcement. From afar, the looks registered as Rocha‘s take on the industry’s broader “sportif” trend; up close, a co branded Simone Rocha x adidas Originals logo stamped across fronts and embroidered into sides revealed the full picture. The show itself was divided into three acts inspired by Irish mythology, drawing on Jack B. Yeats’ 1936 painting In Tír na nÓg and the Celtic otherworld.

Athletic Ethereal: The Collection in Detail

The collaboration’s signature aesthetic, which Hypebeast described as “athletic ethereal”, runs through every category. Key apparel includes pearl-encrusted track jackets with puff sleeves, ruffled Three Stripes tops, frilly sports bloomers, silky hot pants, co branded leotards, and deconstructed tulle pleated dresses hand-embroidered with satin ribbons.

Footwear plays an equally central role, with Mary Jane inspired shoes incorporating the Three Stripes through bow style lacing, ballerina-style sneakers embellished with crystals at the heel, and slip ons with subtle pearl details. Accessories include oversized bow adorned bags, pearl accented headbands, bedazzled Trefoil barrettes, ribbon laced gloves, and a white weekend tote covered in adidas logos.

One of the collection’s most distinctive details is a reengineered co brand logo: Rocha reworked adidas‘s iconic Trefoil, wreathing it with her signature ribbon motif and nesting it inside her “SR” mark, appearing across tech nylon dresses, knee high socks, and bags.

Years in the Making

Rocha revealed in an interview with British Vogue that she had been in discussions with adidas for several years before the collaboration came together. Adidas said in a statement, “The partnership allows unique interpretations of Rocha’s archetypical garments, cross pollination of looks, hybrid pieces.” Rocha added, “Sports are so emotional and I’m a very emotional designer,” saying she wanted “the pieces themselves to feel very authentically my handwriting.”

When to Expect It

The collection is set to launch in fall 2026 and will be available through both Simone Rocha and adidas channels. Given Rocha‘s track record with sell-out partnerships, including past collaborations with Crocs and H&M, demand is expected to be exceptionally high at launch.
