Ulta Beauty, the largest beauty retailer in the United States, has partnered with DoorDash, the nation’s leading last-mile logistics platform, to offer same-day delivery services for its customers. This collaboration aims to provide “instant beauty gratification” by delivering Ulta Beauty’s extensive range of over 25,000 products, including cosmetics, skincare, haircare, and fragrances, directly to customers’ doorsteps.
The partnership is facilitated through DoorDash Drive, a white-label fulfillment platform that enables direct deliveries for businesses without the need for in-house infrastructure. Ulta Beauty will receive on-demand access to DoorDash’s Dasher fleet, allowing them to fulfill customers’ digital orders placed in advance or on the same day.
This service is currently available in select cities across the United States, such as Boston, Atlanta, Los Angeles, Chicago, Houston, and Boise, Idaho, with plans to expand and roll out more broadly in 2022.
To place an order for same-day delivery, customers can visit Ulta’s website, add their desired products to the cart, check local store availability, and select the same-day delivery option at checkout. There is a $9.95 fee for each order, and a signature will be required for orders over $99.99.
