A$AP Rocky Launches His First Whiskey Brand, Mercer + Prince

Grammy-nominated musician and multi-hyphenated artist A$AP Rocky has announced the launch of his premium whiskey brand, Mercer + Prince. Created in partnership with Global Brand Equities and E. & J. Gallo, this blended Canadian whisky is inspired by A$AP Rocky’s sophisticated taste, cutting-edge style, and global inspiration.
Mercer + Prince is aged for a minimum of four years in American white oak barrels and influenced by Japanese Mizunara oak, resulting in a smooth and complex flavor profile.
A$AP Rocky expressed his excitement and gratitude for the opportunity to introduce Mercer + Prince to the world. He had been wanting to launch a whiskey for years but struggled to find partners willing to innovate at the level he envisioned.
With the support of Global Brand Equities and Gallo, A$AP Rocky was able to create a unique whiskey that defies traditional norms while respecting industry traditions.
Mercer + Prince is named after A$AP Rocky‘s favorite New York City cross streets and is designed to appeal to a diverse audience. The bottle features a dynamic two-cup design, allowing consumers to immediately open the bottle and share a drink with a friend. This artistic yet functional design is intended to stand out on any surface.
Mercer + Prince is a versatile spirit that can be enjoyed neat, on the rocks, or in various cocktails. Its smooth taste, disruptive packaging, and accessible price point make it an exciting addition to the world of premium whiskey.
The whiskey will be available for exclusive pre-release through ReserveBar in participating states on March 24th, with retail availability later this summer at a suggested retail price of $29.99.
