How Does ReShop Work?

Reshop is a technology company reshaping the returns process by providing instant refunds and a hassle-free experience. Offering instant refunds to shoppers alleviates one of the most problematic aspects of retail – the waiting time associated with returns. Unlike traditional systems where refunds take days or weeks, Reshop ensures that consumers receive their money back immediately, enabling them to make new purchases without delay.

Data reveals that 90% of shoppers would make repeat purchases from a merchant that offers instant refunds, and 2/3 of Americans believe returns are the absolute worst part of shopping. Reshop and its partners are on a mission to enhance this experience and see fast refunds as a way to minimize consumer and merchant pain points.

"We see an opportunity to disrupt a traditional process to deliver unique value to both merchants and consumers," said Katie Pridham, Chief Commercial Officer at Reshop. "With Reshop, customers can receive instant refunds—offering them greater flexibility, control, and confidence to shop again right away. For merchants, Reshop can help transform what has historically been a loss into an opportunity to recapture customers and drive additional revenue."

ReShop Ownership and Founder

Launched in 2024, Reshop has quickly established a network of retail partners through its partnership with Narvar, a leading post-purchase service provider that integrates with over 1,400 well-known brands. The company was founded by Jack Bloomfield, who founded another firm called Disputify. Reshop is headquartered at 423 Broadway in New York, NY. Its initial partners include premium lifestyle brand Alo Yoga, renowned footwear brand Steve Madden, and Orveon's lineup of elite cosmetic brands such as BareMinerals, Laura Mercier, and Buxom.

Reshop is backed by notable founding shareholders Anthony Eisen and Nick Molnar, co-founders of Afterpay, as well as influential investors like Matrix Partners, Sound Ventures (co-founded by Ashton Kutcher and Guy Oseary), and Mantis VC (associated with The Chainsmokers).

How To Use Reshop for Returns

Here's a detailed guide on how Reshop works to help you understand its seamless process.

Step 1: Initiate a Return with a Partner Retailer To kickstart the process, you first need to start a return with one of Reshop's partner retailers. During this process, you will be given the option to select Reshop for a fast refund.

Step 2: Choose Reshop for a Fast Refund When prompted, choose Reshop to expedite your refund. This step ensures that Reshop's efficient system will handle the refund process.

Step 3: Create a Reshop Account Next, you'll need to create a Reshop account if you haven’t already. This account will be essential for tracking your returns' status and facilitating the quick refund process.

Step 4: Track Your Return and Refund through the Reshop App Once your Reshop account is set up, you can easily monitor the status of your return and stay informed about your refund through the Reshop app. This app allows you to manage all your returns and refunds in one convenient place.

Step 5: Receive Your Refund After your return is processed, you'll receive your refund instantly through a Reshop Card, a virtual Visa debit card available in the Reshop app. This virtual card can be used immediately, providing quick access to your funds. Alternatively, if you prefer, the refund can be directed to your debit card, where it usually appears within seconds but can take up to 30 minutes in some cases.

Reshop’s mission is to transform returns from a pain point into a positive experience for both shoppers and retailers, making the refund process not just faster, but also more valuable. For more information and services, visit reshop.com.
