This year has proved pivotal for Canada Goose, the iconic Canadian luxury outerwear and performance brand, as it expanded its U.S. retail footprint and delivered a robust year-over-year sales increase in the United States. As North American shoppers embraced new locally-tailored store experiences and expanded year-round collections, the brand sharpened its focus on international flagship growth for 2026 and beyond.

Solid U.S. Growth: The Numbers and Drivers

Canada Goose reported a full-year U.S. revenue increase, delivering a major lift in North American sales at a time when the wider luxury retail sector faced persistent volatility.

Canada Goose chairman and CEO Dani Reiss stated, “Our strong Q4 results show the kind of impact Canada Goose can make when our brand connects and our strategy hits the mark. We saw solid DTC comparable sales growth, fuelled by compelling storytelling, sharp retail execution and continued momentum around our Snow Goose capsule. As we close out fiscal 2025, we are making clear strides across our key priorities – enhancing retail execution, elevating our brand and product offering, and delivering it all efficiently.”

The direct-to-consumer (DTC) segment performed especially well, with a revenue jump for the year and 15.7% in Q4. DTC stores led the way with double-digit comparable sales growth each month in the quarter, noted North America president Carrie Baker. These positive results have reinforced a strategic commitment to DTC channels and immersive retail as key drivers for future brand affinity and profitability.

U.S. Retail Expansion: New Store Openings & Enhanced Experiences

Canada Goose aggressively expanded and revamped its American store fleet in 2025, opening elevated new locations and giving existing flagships fresh updates to support omnichannel sales.

Notable U.S. highlights for the year include new and remodeled stores in luxury shopping destinations such as New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Miami, Boston, Houston, and Toronto. A continued rollout of tailored 365-day relevance collections, moving beyond winter outerwear into lighter, year-round ready-to-wear, footwear, and accessories. Pop-up and experiential events, including limited capsule releases and in-store activations.

Reiss affirmed that the company plans to expand its product range to remain relevant year-round. The focus is on raising standards in performance, authenticity, and style, introducing fresh elements to existing categories, and growing the apparel lineup while continuing to highlight down-filled styles.

U.S. Demand, Brand Value, and the Path Forward

The brand’s reputation for made-in-Canada quality and technical innovation appealed not only to legacy fans but also to younger, digitally savvy shoppers seeking both style and rugged performance in urban environments.

“When you look at the apparel growth that we’ve seen, we’re a brand that is known for warmth,” Brand and Commercial President Carrie Baker said on the call with analysts. “And outside of winter, we’re just really not known as that brand, but this campaign, the collection really challenge that perception and people responded to it.”

International Expansion: Flagship Ambitions

Building on North American momentum, Canada Goose has confirmed plans for new international flagship stores in high-profile locations across Europe, Asia, and the Middle East.

CEO Dani Reiss concluded that the success of fiscal 2025 provides a solid foundation for the company’s future. In fiscal 2026, the focus will be on executing bolder marketing initiatives, expanding and enhancing the product range, and elevating the consumer experience, all key drivers of last year’s momentum. These priorities are deliberate, proven, and aimed at sustaining long-term growth.

Future Outlook

For Canada Goose, 2025 marks not just a strong performance year in terms of U.S. revenue growth, but a broader repositioning as a global all-season luxury leader, one with a sharper North American presence and ambitions to set the pace for outerwear and performance retail worldwide.
