A new class action lawsuit claims Fashion Nova misled shoppers with fake discounts and inflated prices on its website.

Five consumers have filed a class action lawsuit against Fashion Nova LLC, alleging the retailer uses misleading sales tactics to entice customers into making purchases. The suit, filed April 2 in Washington federal court, claims Fashion Nova violates state and federal consumer protection laws by creating the illusion of limited-time offers and significant discounts.

Claims of Deceptive Sales Practices

According to the complaint, Fashion Nova’s website frequently displays countdown timers, strikethrough “regular” prices, and large discount percentages. However, the plaintiffs allege these sales are not genuine. For example, the “Weekend Sherpa Denim Jacket” was advertised with a regular price of $69.99 but was always sold at a discount—sometimes for $48.99, other times for $28.98.
