A luxury hair care brand founded by Leona Dondi, UZIMA has announced its retail partnership with the leading luxury beauty and fashion retailer, MODA Operandi. The partnership, which commenced on August 17th, 2023, marks a significant milestone in the luxury haircare industry, particularly for women with textured hair.

UZIMA, which translates to 'Full of Life' in Swahili, was launched in February 2023. The brand was born out of Dondi's personal struggle to find suitable hair care products for her textured hair. With a strong emphasis on integrity and research, UZIMA's products are formulated with botanical ingredients that focus on nourishing the scalp microbiome.

The UKUAJI Scalp Serum, priced at $70, combines clinically proven active ingredients designed to support scalp health and encourage strong hair growth. The UNYEVU Leave-In Conditioner, priced at $58, combats frizz while delivering weightless, lasting moisture and shine.
