Named after Marilyn Monroe’s birth date, Lindsay Lohan’s fashion line, 6126, aimed to capture old Hollywood charm. Launched in 2009, the brand initially focused on women’s leggings, a staple Lohan adored.

The Launch and Early Success 6126 launched in 2009 with great success, fueled by Lohan’s star power and love for leggings. In Spring, the line expanded to include a broader range of women’s apparel, maintaining its appeal.

In 2010, Lohan’s legal troubles unexpectedly brought unintended publicity, Lohan’s personal life took another dramatic turn. On July 6, 2010, she was sentenced to 90 days in jail for violating her probation from a 2007 DUI case.

Ironically, this legal trouble brought unintended publicity to her burgeoning fashion line, and retail analysts saw an uptick in interest and projected annual sales of $5 million. The Decline and Closure Despite the initial success, 6126 faced significant challenges.

Lohan’s ongoing legal issues overshadowed her professional ventures. The peak of negative press saw her fired as artistic adviser at Emanuel Ungaro after a poorly received debut collection in October 2009.
