Prada, the prestigious luxury fashion brand founded by Mario Prada in 1913 and headquartered in Milan, Italy, has recently announced the launch of its second edition of the paid internship program, Generation PRADA. This 12-week program, set to commence on April 2, 2023, is designed for college students who are passionate about pursuing a career in the fashion industry.
Generation PRADA aims to provide interns with valuable hands-on experience in various aspects of the fashion world. One such opportunity includes working as a Product Front End Experience intern, where candidates will collaborate closely with the Experience Product Manager. In this role, interns will assist in leading the ideation, development, and execution of all Prada Group's eCommerce sites, working alongside Design, cross-functional, IT, eCommerce, and Merchandising teams.
The Prada Group, owned by Miuccia Prada and Patrizio Bertelli, is home to several renowned luxury brands, including Prada, Miu Miu, Church's, Car Shoe, and the historic Pasticceria Marchesi. The company's mission is to provide full service, from raw product to final solution, and has experienced exponential growth in digital printing to meet the evolving demands of the industry.
To secure a position in this highly sought-after internship program, aspiring designers and fashion enthusiasts must showcase their talent and dedication to the craft. This can be achieved by sending resumes, contacting relevant personnel, and presenting an impressive portfolio of work that aligns with the target brand's aesthetic and vision.
With the launch of Generation PRADA in August 2022, the company is opening doors for the next generation of fashion professionals, providing them with invaluable experience and a stepping stone towards a successful career in the competitive world of luxury fashion.
