Anthropologie, the globally renowned lifestyle brand celebrated for its unique contributions to art, fashion, and home décor, is strengthening its ties to the Philadelphia community through three impactful philanthropic partnerships. Aligned with its core values of arts education, women’s empowerment, and sustainability, these collaborations aim to drive meaningful change in the city.

The brand’s new initiatives include partnerships with Mural Arts of Philadelphia, The Wardrobe, and FarmerJawn. Each addresses critical community needs while reflecting Anthropologie’s commitment to creativity, empowerment, and environmental stewardship.

Mural Arts of Philadelphia

Anthropologie has partnered with Mural Arts of Philadelphia, the nation’s most extensive public art program, to support its mission of transforming urban landscapes through art. Since its founding in 1984, Mural Arts has created over 4,000 murals and engages over 100,000 people annually through art education, community outreach, and public art installations.

This partnership will focus on expanding Mural Arts’ reach, fostering creativity, and inspiring social change across Philadelphia’s neighborhoods. Anthropologie’s funding and volunteer efforts will help bring vibrant public art to more communities, beautifying the city while empowering residents through artistic expression.

The Wardrobe

Anthropologie also joins forces with The Wardrobe, a nonprofit organization that eliminates clothing insecurity. Formerly known as Career Wardrobe, the organization has served over 150,000 individuals and distributed more than 1 million clothing items since its inception in 1995.

Through this partnership, Anthropologie will support The Wardrobe’s efforts to provide free professional and everyday clothing to those in need, helping individuals step into new opportunities with confidence. The collaboration will include clothing drives, styling events, and volunteer initiatives to ensure everyone can access the resources they need to thrive.

FarmerJawn

In a bid to support sustainable agriculture and food security, Anthropologie has partnered with FarmerJawn, the largest Black-woman-owned regenerative organic produce farm in the U.S. Founded by Christa Barfield, FarmerJawn operates on 47 acres and has grown over 50,000 pounds of produce since its launch.

This collaboration will promote regenerative farming practices, increase access to healthy, locally sourced food, and educate the community on sustainable food systems. Anthropologie’s support will help FarmerJawn expand its educational programs and continue its mission of environmental stewardship.

Anthropologie Community and Core Values

“We are thrilled to partner with organizations that are not only making a difference in our local community but are also aligned so closely with our core values,” said Kate Haldy, Head of PR, Communications, and Impact at Anthropologie. “If there’s one thing that sets Anthropologie apart, it’s our teams’ eagerness to get involved and support the city they love.”

To kick off these partnerships, Anthropologie has committed a $10,000 donation to support the initiatives of Mural Arts, The Wardrobe, and FarmerJawn. The brand will also organize volunteer opportunities, local activations, and community events to further amplify these collaborations' impact.

Looking Forward

Through these partnerships, Anthropologie aims to make a lasting impact on arts education, clothing security, and sustainable living in Philadelphia. For more information about Anthropologie’s philanthropic initiatives, visit Anthropologie’s Community Page.
