Lacoste is deepening its commitment to Latin America, opening a new store at Parque Arauco Colina shopping center in Bogotá, Colombia, the latest milestone in the French brand’s rapidly accelerating regional expansion strategy.
Colombia as a Strategic Growth Market
The Bogotá opening is part of a deliberate and fast moving push by Lacoste to build a stronger retail footprint across Colombia, a market the brand has identified as strategic for its Latin American growth ambitions in the coming years. The new store is executed in partnership with BMG (Brand Management Group), Lacoste‘s strategic retail partner in the region, and follows a sequence of high profile openings across Colombia that began accelerating in late 2025. In December 2025 alone, Lacoste and BMG launched Colombia‘s first ever Lacoste concept store in Medellín‘s Provenza neighborhood, the third concept store globally after Le Marais in Paris and Saint Tropez, followed days later by a second concept store in Barranquilla, the brand’s first in that city.
A Partnership Built for the Region
Behind Lacoste‘s rapid expansion across Colombia and Latin America is BMG (Brand Management Group), a Panama City based multi brand retail operator and distributor that manages premium and luxury brand portfolios across the region.
BMG has been instrumental in executing Lacoste‘s accelerated store rollout across Colombia, with its local market expertise and operational capabilities enabling the brand to open multiple doors in rapid succession while maintaining the integrity of the retail concept. The Bogotá Parque Arauco Colina opening reinforces the strength of the Lacoste BMG partnership and signals continued momentum for the brand across the region.
Lacoste’s Broader Americas Momentum
The Colombia expansion is part of a larger Americas strategy being driven under new Lacoste CEO Éric Vallat, who replaced longtime CEO Thierry Guibert on September 1, 2025. In the United States, Lacoste opened a flagship store of nearly 10,000 square feet at 575 Fifth Avenue in New York, while in Mexico, the brand already operates 45 retail locations. In Brazil, recent openings at Iguatemi Esplanada in Sorocaba, Buriti Shopping Rio Verde in Goiânia, and Americana Shopping round out a multi country push that positions Lacoste as one of the most active premium brands expanding across the Western Hemisphere right now.
