Price.com is doubling down on agentic AI as the next big force in e-commerce, launching “Buy with AI”—an end-to-end shopping experience that lets customers discover, save, and complete purchases without ever leaving the Price.com ecosystem.

Price.com turns AI intent into completed purchases

With this latest update, Price.com moves its conversational AI beyond simple product suggestions into full purchase execution, allowing users to chat with an AI assistant, compare options, stack savings, and check out in a single, continuous flow. Instead of redirecting shoppers to external retailer sites at the last step, the platform now keeps the entire journey, search, decision, and payment inside Price.com, aiming to reduce friction and abandoned carts.

The upgrade builds on the Price.com AI beta, which was originally designed for discovery and savings, but now fully supports end-to-end purchasing across a growing roster of major retailers. It is available first to Price.com Premium customers, who get access to the most advanced agent-led checkout flows.

“Nearly a quarter of all purchases” by Black Friday 2026

Consumer behavior is already shifting in this direction. Research from Visa shows that 47% of U.S. consumers are using AI for at least one shopping task, from comparing prices to finding products, and that millions are expected to rely on AI agents to complete purchases by the 2026 holiday season. That data underpins Price.com’s conviction that agentic AI will move from edge case to mainstream over the next two years.

“Nearly a quarter of all purchases by Black Friday 2026 will be driven by Agentic AI experiences,” said RJ Jain, founder and CEO of Price.com. He explained that while “nearly half of consumers are already using AI to help them shop,” most tools still “stop short,” helping users discover products but then forcing them to figure out savings and checkout alone. Price.com, he said, “is built for what comes next, turning AI-driven intent into completed purchases, with savings, all in one place.”

Powered by Visa Intelligent Commerce and agent infrastructure

To deliver secure, scalable agent-led checkout, Price.com is working in alignment with Visa Intelligent Commerce, extending AI from recommendation into real transaction flows. Behind the scenes, infrastructure partners Henry Labs and Nekuda support agent-led purchasing, enabling AI to execute payments across multiple retailers while managing risk and compliance.

This architecture allows Price.com to act as a neutral, open-internet AI shopping layer rather than a closed marketplace, orchestrating purchases wherever the best deals can be found. That distinction is key to the company’s vision of agentic commerce that is not confined to a single platform.

Built-in savings across 100,000+ merchants

Savings remain the heart of the Price.com promise. The platform combines coupons, cash back, price history, and real-time comparisons across more than 1 billion products and over 100,000 merchants, spanning categories from fashion and consumer goods to flights, hotels, prescription medications, restaurants, and everyday essentials.

Through “Buy with AI,” those tools are now embedded directly into the purchase flow. The AI can surface deals and then apply them automatically as it completes checkout, helping shoppers unlock cash back, redeem coupons, and secure the best available price without manual code-hunting or tab-hopping. Major retail partners currently supported include Nike, Chewy, Walmart, Target, Best Buy, HoneyLove, Sephora, Adidas, Macy’s, Home Depot, Skechers, Nordstrom, and “thousands more.”

Early adoption of end-to-end purchasing is strongest in high-intent categories like apparel, electronics, and home goods, where shoppers already lean on AI to find deals but often abandon carts when redirected to unfamiliar or clunky checkout pages.

Available now to Price.com Premium customers

The “Buy with AI” experience is now live for Price.com Premium customers, who can access it via price.com/ai, browser extensions for Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge, and the brand’s iOS and Android apps. Since launch, Price.com reports that its tools have already helped shoppers save millions of dollars, and the new agentic layer is designed to accelerate those savings by closing more transactions instead of losing momentum at checkout.

As agentic AI moves from buzzword to infrastructure, Price.com is positioning itself as an early leader in “intent-to-purchase” automation—betting that by Black Friday 2026, a significant slice of online shopping will be handled not by users clicking through dozens of tabs, but by AI agents that find, optimize, and complete purchases on their behalf.
