Coach has opened two new retail locations in the American South, with fresh boutiques now live at Pembroke Gardens in Pembroke Pines, Florida, and Lakeside Shopping Center in Metairie, Louisiana, both delivered by retail construction firm Axxys Construction Group.
Pembroke Pines: A New Presence in South Florida
The Coach boutique at Pembroke Gardens, located at 525 SW 145th Terrace, Pembroke Pines, FL 33027, officially opened in late February 2026 as part of a broader wave of national brand arrivals at the 41 acre lifestyle center in Broward County. Pembroke Gardens is operated by Federal Realty Investment Trust and continues to attract premium retail tenants, with 2026 arrivals including Aerie, Rowan, and the upcoming additions of Pottery Barn, West Elm, and Williams Sonoma later in the year. The opening reinforces Pembroke Pines as one of South Florida‘s most active retail growth corridors, driven by a large and growing residential base in Broward County.
Metairie: The Only Full Price Coach in Louisiana
The Metairie location, situated at 3301 Veterans Memorial Blvd, Suite 14, inside Lakeside Shopping Center, opened in early March 2026 and holds the distinction of being the sole full price Coach retail store in the state of Louisiana. The store’s grand opening event took place on March 28, drawing significant local interest to Lakeside, which celebrated its 65th anniversary in 2025 and stands as the largest shopping mall in Louisiana with over 100 stores and a customer draw extending 60 miles beyond the typical super regional mall range.Â
Lisa Manzella, General Manager of Lakeside Shopping Center said, “Coach brings its latest collections of handbags, smaller leather goods, ready to wear and accessories to Lakeside.“
Coach’s Continued US Retail Expansion
Both stores are positioned within malls that are actively bucking the struggling mall narrative, attracting premium brands and consistent foot traffic, making them strong additions to Coach‘s growing US direct retail network. The two openings are part of a broader expansion strategy by Coach parent company Tapestry, Inc., which has been investing in new and renovated store formats across North America as it works to reinforce the brand’s position as a leading New York inspired luxury fashion house. Each new store carries Coach‘s full range of seasonal collections, signature leather goods, bags, ready to wear, and accessories in a boutique environment reflecting the brand’s refined, craftmanship forward retail identity.
