Dior has transformed South Coast Plaza in Costa Mesa, California, into a cinematic couture universe with a new pop up that Monsieur Christian Dior would have called a refuge of the marvelous. Open from March 9 to April 6, 2026, the immersive installation celebrates Jonathan Anderson’s debut collections for the house, turning the mall’s iconic Jewel Court into a three dimensional love letter to the brand’s archival codes.
Dior Turns Jewel Court Into a Couture Set
At the heart of the project is a dramatic reimagining of Colifichets, the small gift boxes from Dior’s first boutique, now blown up into towering grey structures that wrap the entire court. The gray hue nods to 30 Montaigne, while the stacked boxes serve as both architecture and display, housing Men’s and Women’s accessories and framing the collections like objets d’art.
Inside the space, three mannequins dressed as bellboys carry piled high Dior towers, creating a whimsical, almost theatrical tableau that draws guests into the world of haute couture fantasy. The result is an environment that feels part installation, part boutique, and entirely Dior.
Jonathan Anderson’s Debut Vision Takes Center Stage
The pop up is dedicated to Jonathan Anderson’s first collections for Dior, bringing the Women’s and Men’s universes together in one fluid, contemporary space. Guests can discover reinvented icons such as the Lady Dior, a Dior Book Tote embroidered with classic literary covers, new Dior Bow bags, reworked Dior Normandie bags, Dior Roadie shoes, and Dior Archie loafers alongside key Spring Summer 2026 ready to wear pieces.
By staging both categories side by side, the house underlines a unified creative direction and shows how Anderson is refreshing Dior’s codes while keeping its couture heritage at the core.
Immersive Experiences and Personalization
Beyond product, the pop up leans into experience. A game called Try Your Luck welcomes each guest with a surprise draw, echoing Monsieur Dior’s famous love of talismans and superstition and offering the chance to win a prize.
Three personalization animations add another layer of luxury: a perfumed ceramic with customizable ribbon inspired by the Gris Dior / Gris Gris universe, plus a mini notebook and bookmark that let clients craft their own keepsakes tied to the collection’s themes. These bespoke touches will continue at the Women’s boutique after the pop up wraps, available by appointment from March 13.
South Coast Plaza as a Dior Destination
Located at 3333 Bristol Street, Jewel Court, South Coast Plaza, Costa Mesa, CA 92626, the pop up operates within the center’s regular hours, complementing the permanent Dior and Dior Beauty boutiques already anchoring the luxury offering there. With this installation, Dior turns one of the United States most important luxury malls into a stage for its new creative chapter, inviting guests to literally walk through its history and future in a single visit.
For those who want to explore opportunities to join the House of Talents and build a retail career within Christian Dior Couture, the brand is simultaneously promoting roles linked to the pop up and its South Coast Plaza presence.
