Nothing and Charli XCX have officially landed in the windows of Harrods on Brompton Road, marking a major visibility moment for the London based tech brand’s phones and audio line up. The takeover runs this week and next, and extends inside the store with a branded fixture showcasing the full Nothing Audio and Phone range on Harrods’ 5th floor technology walkway.
From tech floor drop to window takeover
The Harrods partnership began in March 2026, when the retailer secured the UK exclusive first access for the Nothing Phone (4a) Pro on its Technology Floor. On 21 March, Harrods hosted an in store drop on Level 5 Tech Floor, offering Phone (4a) Pro alongside Phone (4a) and Headphone (a), with the first 50 buyers of Phone (4a) Pro receiving a free Headphone (a).
That launch positioned Harrods as the flagship UK destination for Nothing’s newest smartphone, which the brand describes as its slimmest design yet, featuring an evolved Glyph interface, IP65 water and dust resistance, and upgraded cameras. The new Brompton Road activation now brings that relationship front of house.
Charli XCX in the Harrods windows
Nothing’s founder Carl Pei confirmed that “Nothing x Charli xcx” is now in Harrods’ Brompton Road windows, with the full phone and audio range carried year round on the Tech Floor. Visuals show Charli XCX fronting the campaign artwork, linking Harrods’ luxury context with the brand’s pop forward, youth culture positioning.
Earlier in May, Nothing announced Charli XCX as its first ever Global Brand Ambassador and a shareholder, signalling a deeper creative and strategic tie than a standard endorsement. The brand has framed the relationship as using Charli’s boundary pushing music persona to reinforce Nothing’s identity as a design led, culture driven tech company.
Seeing that partnership materialise in Harrods’ world famous windows effectively cements Nothing’s jump from upstart to luxury adjacent player, a shift the company’s own newsroom called “from startup brand to Harrods window displays in London.”
Inside Harrods: Audio and Phone on the 5th floor
Beyond the windows, the activation extends into Harrods’ interior with a branded Nothing fixture on the 5th floor main tech walkway, where shoppers can explore the full Nothing Audio and Phone portfolio. This includes:
- Phone (4a) Pro, the halo device highlighted in Harrods’ product pages as a “complete evolution” of the 4a line, with slimmer design, enhanced AI capabilities and upgraded camera performance.
- Other Phone (4a) configurations and Headphone (a), which were part of the original March drop and help round out the brand’s ecosystem.
For Harrods, the partnership adds a design focused, youth relevant tech label to its premium electronics offer; for Nothing, it secures both prime street facing storytelling and a high traffic, high prestige retail platform in London.
Why this moment matters for Nothing
In just a few years, Nothing has moved from challenger brand to a name with:
- A flagship smartphone exclusive on Harrods’ tech floor.
- A Brompton Road window takeover headlined by a global pop figure.
- A year round presence for its phone and audio range inside one of the world’s most recognisable luxury department stores.
Tying that visibility to Charli XCX, who is also an investor, suggests the brand is serious about building a long term cultural platform, not just a single campaign. As Pei put it, seeing Nothing and Charli show up at Harrods feels “exactly where this should be going” a line that captures both the ambition and the momentum behind this latest move.
