Vince is bringing its signature quiet California luxury deeper into London, unveiling a newly renovated space inside the Harvey Nichols flagship that channels the brand’s Marylebone store aesthetic through meticulous technical execution by Acierta.
From Marylebone flagship to Harvey Nichols
The renovation proposal for the Vince store at Harvey Nichols is “mainly inspired by the Vince Marylebone store in London,” a two storey 2,300 square foot flagship that set the tone for the brand’s European bricks and mortar identity. That Marylebone High Street space was conceived to blend California ease with British sophistication, combining warm materials and clean lines to express what Vince calls understated luxury. For Harvey Nichols, the new, expanded and remodelled Vince concession follows that same design language, adapting it to the department store context while giving the label more room to present womenswear and menswear as it moves to a concession model there.
Acierta’s technical development and execution
Design and production house Acierta handled “Technical Development, Production and Installation” for the Vince space at Harvey Nichols, translating the concept into built reality down to the last fixture. With studios in Valencia, London, Paris, Doha and New York, Acierta specialises in retail, events and hospitality environments, working across creativity, production, logistics and on site installation. For this project, the team took the design blueprint previously executed at Vince Marylebone and refined it for a concession footprint, preserving key material and colour cues while navigating the technical demands of a heritage department store building.
Craftsmanship, colour and California ease
According to Acierta, the concept “reflects the brand’s roots of craftsmanship and understated California luxury,” using very high end finishes, vintage collector pieces and bespoke furniture to create a refined, timeless retail experience. The palette of deep terracotta, basalt charcoal and soft ivory was carefully selected “to create a high contrast backdrop that makes every garment stand out,” echoing the warm walnut flooring, mohair seating and silk drapery seen in the Marylebone flagship. Sculptural rails, textural walls and crafted objects give the space a gallery like feel, balancing coastal warmth with the polished environment of Harvey Nichols’ Knightsbridge flagship.
Elevating the Vince experience at Harvey Nichols
The revamped Vince corner at Harvey Nichols is more than a cosmetic refresh; the expanded footprint allows for a broader offer and a more fluid, residential style layout. As reported, the Californian fashion brand has “unveiled an expanded and remodelled space within the Harvey Nichols flagship in Knightsbridge, London,” reinforcing its commitment to the UK market and aligning the in store experience with its flagship standards. With Acierta’s technical development and production underpinning the build, shoppers encounter a space that quietly communicates quality through proportion, materials and light, mirroring the ease and longevity of Vince’s ready to wear.
