CVS Pharmacy has once again demonstrated its commitment to inclusivity and diversity with the introduction of the Universal Tools collection under its exclusive beauty and personal care brand, one+other. The collection was first introduced on International Self-Care Day, the Universal Tools collection is an expansion of the one+other assortment, which was introduced in January earlier this year. The one+other brand was created with the mission of democratizing access to self-care products, allowing consumers to practice self-care in their own way at an accessible price point.
In fact, in a recent survey of 100 people with mobility or dexterity challenges conducted by Gauge on behalf of CVS Health®, 62% said using nail clippers and tweezers poses a challenge. The new one+other Universal Tools collection The tools include inclusive features such as wide, open handles and non-slip, easy-to-grip silicone patterns that are uniquely textured to distinguish from other tools, making self-care more accessible to people with certain disabilities.
The Universal Tools collection is a significant step towards creating more inclusivity in the self-care aisle in retail stores. It was developed with the disability community in mind, addressing the everyday challenges faced by individuals with mobility or dexterity issues.
