PrettyLittleThing Founders Launch Kamani Rossar

PrettyLittleThing co-founders Umar Kamani and Paul Papworth have launched Kamani Rossar, a luxury interior design business, in April 2024. The billionaire brothers, who previously sold their stake in the fast-fashion brand to Boohoo in 2020, are now setting their sights on the world of high-end interior design.

Kamani Rossar will operate studios in both London and Dubai, offering bespoke interior design services to a global clientele. The company has already secured several prestigious projects, including the design of a hotel lobby, a hotel courtyard, an entertaining space in a family home, and even a yacht.

Umar Kamani, who stepped down as the chief executive of PrettyLittleThing in 2023 to explore new challenges and build new brands, expressed his enthusiasm for the new venture. He will be working alongside experienced designer Rob Rosser to bring their creative vision to life.

Adam Kamani, Umar's brother and co-founder of PrettyLittleThing, shared his long-held ambition to make luxury interior design one of their business offerings. He praised Rob Rosser's work and expressed confidence in Kamani Rossar's potential to become a premier authority in interior design, architecture, and property development worldwide.

The launch of Kamani Rossar marks another milestone in the Kamani brothers' entrepreneurial journey. The duo co-founded PrettyLittleThing in 2012, growing it into a highly successful fast-fashion retailer before selling their stake to Boohoo, owned by their father Mahmud Kamani, for an estimated £269.8 million in 2020.
