Launched in 2022, Playground focuses on creating water-based personal lubricants designed to enhance pleasure and comfort during intimate moments. The brand aims to promote a sex-positive and pleasure-positive conversation, empowering women to embrace their sexuality without shame or stigma.
Aguilera’s involvement with Playground stems from her desire to offer products that center people with vaginas, as she discovered that many sexual wellness products and lubricants were created by men. By working alongside Playground co-founder and CEO Catherine Magee and co-founder and chief product officer Sandy Vukovic, Aguilera hopes to provide an option that prioritizes the needs and desires of women.

Playground’s lubricant formulations contain a unique blend of adaptogens, including ashwagandha, black cohosh, and horny goat weed, which are chosen for their potential to boost arousal. The lubricants are specifically formulated with vaginal health in mind, featuring soothing and hydrating ingredients like hyaluronic acid, vitamin E, and bamboo extract. Additionally, the products maintain the same pH level as the vagina to ensure balance and include gentle scents to set the mood.
