Ebay is set to open a unique sneaker pop-up store in Chicago, celebrating the birth and rise of the iconic Air Jordan 1. The ’85 Shop, located at 1045 W Fulton Market, will be open for two days only, from April 6 to 7, 2023. This exclusive event has been curated in partnership with several of Ebay’s top sneaker sellers, including Jordan Geller of ShoeZeum, who provided many of the shoes and memorabilia featured in the recently released ‘Air’ film on the origin story of the Air Jordan 1.
The ’85 Shop will showcase an impressive collection of vintage and game-worn pairs, rare retros, and coveted collaborations. Sneaker enthusiasts can expect to find a complete collection of original Air Jordan 1s in every colorway, as well as a mint-condition sample. Shoppers can visit The ’85 Shop in person on April 6 and April 7, from 11 am to 6 pm CT, or participate in the online auction at ebay.com/the85shop.
