Understanding Fashion Seasons and Trends Officially, fashion is divided into four seasons: Spring/Summer (SS), Autumn/Winter (AW), Resort, and Pre-Fall. SS and AW fashion weeks are held in Paris, Milan, New York, and London. These two primary seasons set the tone for fashion trends in the coming year.

Each season has its own unique style, color palette, and fabric choices. Understanding these differences is key to creating a cohesive wardrobe that reflects your personal style while staying on-trend.

The Impact of Fast Fashion In recent years, the fashion industry has seen substantial changes in the design, manufacture, and sale of garments. Fast fashion has accelerated the pace of new trends and collections, with some companies producing as many as 52 micro-seasons each year.
