Described internally as “a beautiful new expression of this Maison’s elegance, heritage, and art de vivre,” the boutique is designed to offer guests a transportive Paris style experience in the heart of Shanghai. From the moment guests step inside, the aim is to create a refined, immersive atmosphere for sweet treats, gifting and leisurely tea breaks.

Parisian elegance, tailored for Shanghai

According to the announcement, “every detail of this store reflects the commitment to excellence that defines our brand from the guest experience to the visual elegance, from operational readiness to the final finishing touches.” While full interior visuals have not yet been detailed on the brand’s global site, Ladurée boutiques worldwide are known for pastel toned palettes, ornate mouldings and macaron towers, and the Grand Gateway space is positioned as a “beautiful new expression” of that signature language adapted to local context.
