Lululemon has officially entered the Greek market with a new store in Athens’ Kolonaki district, opened on May 23, 2026, marking a strategic new chapter in the brand’s European expansion.

Lululemon lands in Athens Kolonaki

The first Lululemon store in Greece is located at Akadimias 17 & Voukourestiou in Kolonaki, right in the heart of central Athens, a neighbourhood known for its premium retail, cafés and galleries. The store opened its doors on Saturday, May 23, 2026, with local social media inviting the community to “stop by for a coffee and celebrate the opening with us” throughout launch day. As Lululemon noted in its own update, the Kolonaki location showcases the brand’s latest retail expression, designed to reflect its community led, performance lifestyle DNA.

Store design and in store experience

Reports from local media describe the Kolonaki store as spanning around 180 square metres, with a modern, elevated aesthetic. The interior features terrazzo flooring, warm wood finishes and minimalist architecture, creating a clean backdrop for technical activewear while nodding to the neighbourhood’s upscale feel. According to Lululemon, the design uses natural materials and an open layout to encourage flow and discovery, aligning with the brand’s latest global store concept.

Assortment and community focus

The Kolonaki boutique carries men’s and women’s collections designed for yoga, Pilates, running, training, golf, tennis and everyday movement, positioning Lululemon as a head to toe destination for the city’s growing wellness community. Beyond product, the store is expected to act as a community hub, with local coverage noting plans for fitness events, collaborations and wellness activities hosted in and around the space. A new market entry with Arion Retail Group

Greece marks Lululemon’s third new market entry of 2026, following launches in Poland and Hungary, and is being developed through a franchise partnership with Arion Retail Group. In its official press release, Lululemon confirmed that the Kolonaki opening would be followed by a second Athens location at Golden Hall, the city’s premier shopping mall in Marousi, set to open on June 12, 2026. Together, the two stores and the brand’s EU e commerce site extend Lululemon’s footprint in Southern Europe and underline its ambition to enter six new markets over a 12 month period via franchise partners.
