Lululemon Enters Greece With New Athens Stores in Kolonaki and Golden Hall Through Arion Retail Group

lululemon is entering Greece with its first two stores in Athens, opening in partnership with Arion Retail Group as part of a record year of international expansion across EMEA and Asia. The debut location in Kolonaki opens Saturday, May 23, 2026, followed by a second store at Golden Hall on Friday, June 12, 2026.

First store in Kolonaki, central Athens

The first Greek store opens at Akadimias 17 & Voukourestiou in Kolonaki, in the heart of central Athens. The space spans almost 180 square metres (around 1,930 square feet) and is designed as a light filled, modern retail environment using natural materials such as textured plaster, terrazzo flooring and warm wood finishes.

The assortment is built to support a wide range of activities, including yoga, Pilates, running, training, golf, tennis and everyday movement, offering both women’s and men’s technical apparel and accessories. This aligns with lululemon’s positioning as a technical athletic apparel, footwear and accessories company focused on performance and wellbeing.

Second store at Golden Hall in Marousi

The second location will open on June 12, 2026 in Golden Hall, one of Athens’ premier shopping malls in Marousi, at the northern end of the city. At approximately 290 square metres over two floors, the store is described as offering an elevated shopping experience in a high traffic, mixed use retail destination.

With Kolonaki serving central, urban guests and Golden Hall serving northern suburbs and destination shoppers, lululemon immediately secures a dual presence in two of Athens’ most strategic retail nodes.

Community led hubs for movement and wellbeing

lululemon emphasises that both Athens stores will act as dynamic community hubs, not just points of sale. The brand plans to engage with:

  • Local run clubs
  • Fitness studios and gyms
  • Yoga and Pilates trainers

Through events, activations and collaborations, the stores aim to foster relationships rooted in movement, wellbeing and shared experiences, extending lululemon’s community led model to Greek guests. Shoppers in Greece will also be able to browse and buy via eu.lululemon.com, integrating physical stores with the brand’s European e commerce platform.

A key step in lululemon’s franchise driven expansion

The Greek launch is part of lululemon’s franchise partnership with Arion Retail Group, which is also leading the brand’s rollouts in Poland, Hungary, Romania and Austria. Greece is lululemon’s third new market entry of 2026, following Poland and Hungary in March.

Across 2026, lululemon plans a record six new market entries in 12 months Greece, Austria, Poland, Hungary, Romania and India – using franchise models with Arion Retail Group in Europe and Tata CLiQ in India. This push builds on the brand’s growing EMEA footprint, which reached its 100th store with the opening of the Warsaw location in March 2026.

“Premium performance products” for new guests

Commenting on the Athens openings, Sarah Clark, Senior Vice President, EMEA at lululemon, said the launches mark “another milestone” in the company’s growth across the region and highlighted the partnership with Arion Retail Group. She underscored the goal of introducing “premium performance products that blend technical innovation with elevated style” to new guests in Greece and of building “meaningful connections with the local community here in Athens.”

For lululemon, Greece offers access to a market with strong tourism, a vibrant urban fitness culture and year round outdoor sports, making Athens a natural stage for its mix of technical apparel and lifestyle wear.
