Lululemon Opens in Athens With a Kolonaki Debut And Golden Hall Flagship On The Way

lululemon has officially entered Greece, opening its first store in Athens’ Kolonaki district on May 23 and preparing a second, two floor location at Golden Hall to follow on June 12. Both spaces are conceived as community hubs as much as retail stores, designed to connect with local guests through movement, wellbeing and shared experiences.

Kolonaki: first store in Greece

The first Greek store opened on May 23, 2026 at Akadimias 17 & Voukourestiou in Kolonaki, central Athens, via a franchise partnership with Arion Retail Group. Lululemon describes this boutique as showcasing its latest retail expression, with natural materials, textured plaster and abundant light across roughly 180 square meters.

The Kolonaki location offers a curated selection of technical performance apparel and accessories for women and men, spanning yoga, running, training and everyday wear. Positioned in the heart of the city, it is intended as a neighbourhood anchor where locals can discover the brand and participate in events.

Golden Hall: two floor flagship experience

A second Athens store is set to open on June 12, 2026 inside Golden Hall, one of the city’s premier shopping malls in Marousi, in the northern part of the metro area. This site will span about 290 square meters over two floors, offering an elevated shopping experience with a wider assortment across categories.

Situated in a high traffic, fashion led mall, the Golden Hall store is positioned as a more flagship style destination, complementing the more urban, street level feel of Kolonaki.

Stores as community hubs

Beyond selling product, lululemon is clear that both Athens locations are meant to function as dynamic community hubs. According to the company’s press release, the stores will:

  • Build relationships with guests through movement, wellbeing and shared experiences.
  • Engage actively with local run clubs, fitness studios and trainers, creating opportunities for events, workouts and collaborations.

This mirrors lululemon’s broader global strategy, where stores act as community spaces hosting classes, talks and sweats, not just retail showrooms.

A new market, same playbook

Greece is lululemon’s third market entry of 2026, opened through its franchise partnership with Arion Retail Group. Company leaders say they are focused on introducing premium performance products that blend technical innovation with style, while embedding the brand in the local wellness and sport ecosystem.

Guests in Greece can also explore and shop online via eu.lululemon.com, which extends access beyond Athens and supports omnichannel behaviours like browse online, buy or pick up in store.
