The Shark Tank Pitch: The Ask and Valuation When Scott and Fantroy took the stage, they asked for $150,000 in exchange for 6% equity, valuing Range Beauty at $2.5 million.
Their pitch was supported by strong business performance, including $330,000 in sales in 2020, a successful launch in Target stores, and a growing direct-to-consumer business. The Deal: Strategic Value Over Equity The pitch caught the attention of Lori Greiner and guest shark Emma Grede.
