Sephora Opens Its First Glasgow Store With 5,048 Sq. Ft. of Beauty Brands
Sephora has officially opened its first store in Glasgow, launching a new 5,048-square-foot beauty destination at Silverburn Shopping Centre. The opening marks a major step in the retailer’s UK growth strategy and gives customers in the west of Scotland access to a broad range of international beauty brands, exclusive products and personalised services.
The new store opened on 13 August 2026, taking over the former Waterstones unit at Silverburn. It is the second Sephora store to open in Scotland, following the launch of the brand’s Edinburgh location at St James Quarter in July.
For beauty customers in Glasgow, the opening brings several brands to Scottish physical retail for the first time. The store includes rhode, Haus Labs, Makeup by Mario, Merit Beauty, INNBeauty Project, Tower 28 and Half Magic, giving shoppers the opportunity to discover these high demand names under one roof.
The selection also includes established beauty brands such…
as Tatcha, Tarte, Summer Fridays, Kosas, Rare Beauty, Fenty Beauty, NARS, Pat McGrath Labs, Too Faced and Benefit Cosmetics. The mix reflects Sephora’s position as a multi-brand beauty destination where customers can explore skincare, make-up, fragrance, haircare, wellness and tools in one visit.
The Glasgow store is designed around the retailer’s “Temple of Beauty” format. This approach combines product displays with hands on discovery, professional services and technology-led consultations.
Customers can test products, speak with beauty experts and receive support in finding formulas, shades and routines suited to their individual needs. A dedicated Skincare Hub will feature Sephora’s Beauty Scan technology, a consultation tool that analyses skin and provides tailored product recommendations.
The technology is designed to help customers better understand their skincare needs before choosing products from the wide range available in store. The location will also offer bookable make-up services, with the cost redeemable against purchases…
