L’Occitane En Provence Celebrates 50th Anniversary at OHEKA Castle

Set on the North Shore of Long Island, OHEKA Castle provided a fitting backdrop for an afternoon centred on fragrance, skincare, nature and French-inspired hospitality. The historic venue was transformed into an experience designed to bring the world of Provence to life for guests in New York.

The event was part of a global year of celebrations for L’Occitane en Provence, which reaches its 50th anniversary in 2026. The brand began in Haute Provence, France, where founder Olivier Baussan started distilling rosemary using a traditional alembic still.

What began as a small local project has developed into an international beauty Maison known for its skincare, body care, fragrance and home products. At OHEKA Castle, the focus was on the sensorial side of the brand.
