TAL has teamed up with Mary Lawless Lee to launch a limited edition hydration collection at Walmart, merging quiet luxury aesthetics with everyday functionality at an accessible $21.96 price point per bottle. The drop positions water bottles as fashion forward essentials, designed to move seamlessly from school runs and studio sessions to travel days and desk side hydration.
TAL x Mary Lawless Lee: fashion meets hydration
Based in New York, TAL is the stylish, affordable hydration brand sold exclusively through Walmart, known for stainless steel and glass designs that rival premium competitors on insulation and build, but at mass price points. For this collection, the brand tapped lifestyle content creator, Nemah skincare founder and Happily Grey fashion entrepreneur Mary Lawless Lee to translate her signature, muted yet elevated aesthetic into drinkware.
“TAL delivers trend forward, design driven hydration products that seamlessly blend style and function,” the brand notes, framing the partnership as a way to deliver something that feels both aspirational and attainable for Walmart shoppers. The capsule responds directly to a broader consumer shift: everyday basics that double as accessories and say as much about personal style as a bag or sneaker choice.
The three hero 32oz styles
The collection is available exclusively on Walmart.com in three 32oz formats, each priced at $21.96 while supplies last.
-
32oz Stainless Steel 2 in 1 Straw and Chug Water Bottle with Push Lid and Strap: a stainless steel design with an attached strap, offering both straw and chug options via a push lid for flexible on the go drinking.
-
32oz Stainless Steel 2 in 1 Straw and Chug Bottle with Push Lid: a sleeker, strap free version, featuring chrome finish with an oxblood ribbed boot for added protection and a fashion edge.
-
32oz Glass Vista Water Bottle with Ribbed Sleeve and Strap: a glass bottle with a ribbed silicone sleeve and strap, designed for a clean taste, better grip and shock absorption.
Crafted from durable stainless steel and glass, all three are built for longevity and performance, with details like paracord inspired handles and ribbed components signaling that design is as considered as function.
Design language: “quiet impact” in oxblood and steel blue
“For me, this collection is about quiet impact pieces that feel strong and intentional without being overdone, where design and utility exist seamlessly,” said Mary Lawless Lee. She highlights the “interplay of oxblood and steel blue against chrome” as key to creating depth and contrast that feels modern yet expressive.
That palette, combined with elevated silhouettes and a polished finish, aims to slot easily into a wardrobe built around neutral tailoring, soft knits and tonal athleisure. In other words, these are bottles designed to sit on a brunch table, airplane tray or reformer machine without visually clashing, which is exactly what Lee’s Happily Grey audience has come to expect from her collaborations.
Features built for real life
Beyond aesthetics, the collection leans on TAL’s functional credentials, especially around insulation and daily usability. Key features include:
-
Versatile 2 in 1 lids: flip up straw for easy sipping, or switch to a chug opening for bigger gulps in the stainless steel styles.
-
Leak proof design: secure lids that help prevent spills in bags and cars, important for commuting and travel.
-
Temperature control (on insulated stainless styles): double wall insulation keeps drinks cold for up to 32 hours or hot up to 12, with a sweat free exterior.
-
Premium materials: glass for a cleaner taste in the Vista, robust stainless steel bodies elsewhere, with sturdy construction across the line.
-
Protective details: silicone sleeve on Vista for grip and shock protection; ribbed boot on the chrome bottle to help prevent dents and wear.
-
Easy cleaning: the Vista is dishwasher safe, and the wide openings make it easy to hand wash or add ice in all designs.
-
On the go readiness: built in handles or straps for hands free carrying to workouts, errands, school runs or travel days.
“TAL is always looking for ways to expand our product offerings with new collections that not only reflect modern lifestyles but also inspire confidence in everyday routines,” said Steven Bram, CEO of Core Home, which owns TAL. Partnering with a creator like Lee, he added, helps the brand connect with consumers who want style, function and value in a single object.
