Paris Saint Germain Is Opening a Free Cultural House in Zhangyuan Shanghai

Paris Saint Germain is taking its cultural playbook to China with “ICI C’EST PARIS LA MAISON SHANGHAI,” a four day immersive hub in Zhangyuan, the historic fashion and lifestyle district in Shanghai. From 14 to 17 May 2026, the Club will transform Building W4 into a free to enter space where sport meets fashion, food, art and community.

A Parisian clubhouse in Zhangyuan

For four days, Paris Saint Germain will “take over” Zhangyuan, one of Shanghai’s most emblematic urban regeneration projects, known for its shikumen lanes, boutiques and creative spaces. The activation, branded ICP La Maison Shanghai, builds on the Club’s previous “La Maison” takeovers in London and Tokyo, positioning PSG as a lifestyle brand as much as a football institution.

Located at Building W4, Zhangyuan, 258 Maoming North Road, the space will be open daily from 11am to 9pm, with free entry for all visitors and selected experiences accessible via prior registration. The Club describes it as a “signature space at the crossroads of sport, culture and lifestyle,” designed to bring the PSG universe closer to local fans and the broader creative community.

What visitors can experience inside La Maison Shanghai

True to the “Next Generation Club” positioning, La Maison Shanghai is conceived as an immersive and experiential environment rather than a traditional fan store. Visitors will move through zones dedicated to creativity, play, well being and sensory discovery, blending interactive installations, gaming moments and quieter areas for reflection and content.

Across the four days, the space will host workshops, masterclasses and talks produced with local creatives and PSG Labs, the Club’s innovation and co creation platform. Fans can expect to see football intersect with streetwear, design and digital culture, reinforcing PSG’s status as one of the most fashion forward clubs in world football.

Fashion, art and hands on collaborations

On Thursday 14 May, designer Edmond Luu, founder of Pièces Uniques, will lead a talk followed by a workshop open to the public upon registration, extending his ongoing collaboration with PSG into the Shanghai scene. His presence underlines the Club’s close ties with independent Paris based labels and its influence in contemporary streetwear.

On Sunday 17 May, the ABS Crew collective of artists will host a stencil workshop on tote bags, inviting participants to customize pieces that merge PSG iconography with graphic art. These hands on sessions anchor the event in local making and give visitors something tangible to take home beyond standard merchandise.

A culinary bridge between Paris, Shanghai and Los Angeles

Food is a central part of the La Maison Shanghai programme, used as another medium to express the Club’s cross cultural identity. On Thursday 14 Maychef Ash Lee will collaborate on an exclusive menu, while on Sunday 17 May the restaurant Bastard will offer dishes that combine French and Chinese influences, both available to the public with advance registration.

In addition, U.S. café brand La La Land Kind Café will run a coffee corner inside the space, serving its signature foam top coffees and matcha drinks as “a flavorful preview” of PSG’s next destination: Los Angeles. This detail makes the Shanghai edition part of a rolling global narrative, with La Maison travelling from city to city as a mobile expression of the Club’s lifestyle strategy.

How PSG is evolving its global brand

With La Maison ShanghaiParis Saint Germain continues to blur the lines between sports club and cultural brand, using temporary hubs to embed itself in key global cities. The choice of Zhangyuan connects the Club directly to Shanghai’s fashion and creative communities, while the mix of free entry and curated, registration only experiences keeps the format both inclusive and aspirational.

For fans and locals, it is a chance to experience PSG beyond the pitch: through design, food, art and collaborative workshops that reflect how football now sits at the center of a much wider lifestyle ecosystem. For the Club, it is another step in building long term affinity in Asia by showing that “ICI C’EST PARIS” can also feel very much at home in Shanghai.
