e.l.f. Brings Kory Marchisotto Into Its Berkeley Boardroom-Education Programme

Created with the Undergraduate Marketing Association and The Berkeley Forum, the course brings executives and guest speakers into discussions about leadership and board service. Marchisotto’s appearance adds a direct encounter with a beauty-industry executive to that format.

The company’s programme announcement distributed by Business Wire identifies Marchisotto as president of e.l.f. Brands. In that release, she said: “Talent has never been the issue. Access has.” The course covers corporate boards and professional development, with students applying what they learn through a collaborative project.

It extends Change the Board Game’s work to people still building their early careers, alongside its separate activity with established executives. The educational format works earlier in that pipeline, introducing governance as an area of business knowledge rather than a distant executive milestone.

The campus programme is one component of e.l.f.’s stated ambition to help accelerate representation on U.S. public-company boards by 2027. That remains the initiative’s objective, not a result established by one course or executive visit.
