This year, Saks has taken another significant step in its journey by expanding its long-standing partnership with the French fashion label, Balmain.
Saks recently launched an exclusive beach-themed capsule collection by Balmain, marking a new chapter in their partnership. This collection was inspired by Balmain’s creative director, Olivier Rousteing’s memories of summer escapes to beaches in the South of France while growing up in Bordeaux. The collection blends house signatures with the spirit of a European beach getaway, offering both women’s and men’s ready-to-wear, handbags, and shoes.

on its handbag business, which according to Emily George, president, Americas, at Balmain, is a key priority for their business. The handbag shop was unveiled at the Saks Fifth Avenue flagship in New York, further solidifying the strong bond between the two brands.
The launch of the exclusive collection and the opening of the handbag shop were celebrated with immersive visual displays at Saks Fifth Avenue New York. These displays, titled “Summer Sensation,” depicted a peaceful sunset scene and were dedicated to the collection from June 20 through July 3.
Tracy Margolies, chief merchandising officer at Saks, expressed her excitement about the expansion of their partnership with Balmain.
She stated that Balmain and Olivier Rousteing are forces in luxury fashion, and she believes that their customers will be thrilled to have exclusive access to these new offerings from one of the most sought-after names in the industry.
