Aritzia has officially come home. The Vancouver born retailer has reopened in the redeveloped Oakridge Park, returning to the site of its first ever boutique and marking the moment with a series of nostalgic, team led preview events.
Back where Aritzia began
The new Oakridge Park boutique sits within the fully reimagined retail district on Vancouver’s West Side, on the same grounds where Aritzia opened its very first store in Oakridge Centre in 1984. That original location helped define the brand’s “everyday luxury” positioning and acted as a launchpad for its expansion across Canada and into the U.S. decades later.

commitment to its hometown market. Oakridge Park People Previews To mark the homecoming, Aritzia hosted Oakridge Park People Previews, intimate events that brought in team members to experience the new space before the wider public.
The company highlights that many of those in attendance are long tenured employees who started their careers at the original Oakridge boutique, turning the previews into a reunion as much as a walkthrough.
The events were hosted by Founder & Executive Chair Brian Hill, CEO Jennifer Wong, VP of Talent Acquisition Sara Nathanson and EVP of Retail Pippa Morgan, underscoring how central Oakridge is to the company’s narrative.
