A. Lange & Söhne is celebrating 15 years of partnership with the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este, marking the milestone with a one of a kind 1815 CHRONOGRAPH prize watch and the launch of the CABARET TOURBILLON HONEYGOLD, limited to 50 pieces, on the shores of Lake Como.
Fifteen years at Villa d’Este
This year’s Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este, staged in the gardens of the Grand Hotel Villa d’Este from 15–17 May 2026, capped a decade and a half of collaboration between the historic classic‑car event and A. Lange & Söhne. The Saxon manufacture has been a partner since 2012, using the concours as a stage for craft, precision and mechanical beauty that mirrors the cars on display.

A unique 1815 CHRONOGRAPH for Best of Show To honour the 2026 Best of Show winner, CEO Wilhelm Schmid presented Stefano Martinoli with a unique 1815 CHRONOGRAPH in white gold, often referred to as the “Como Edition.” The watch pairs a solid pink‑gold dial with a white‑gold case and features a hinged, hunter‑style cuvette engraved by hand with the coat of arms of the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este and the year of the award.
The piece is powered by the manufacture’s hand‑wound chronograph calibre, part of a family of 13 dedicated chronograph movements that underpin Lange’s reputation in high‑end timing complications.
As with previous Concorso unique pieces, it is 1 of 1, created exclusively for the winner and not available for sale, which has made earlier examples highly coveted when they occasionally surface at auction…
