Amouage has brought its immersive caterpillar activation to Bloomingdale’s Dubai Mall, running until May 4, 2026, to showcase Love Hibiscus, the newest fragrance in the Secret Garden Collection. The installation follows the brand’s similar activation at Muscat International Airport in Oman, expanding the campaign to the UAE market.

Love Hibiscus Fragrance

Created by perfumer Jérôme Epinette, Love Hibiscus presents a dual composition from the start, featuring a Hibiscus note, tart, berry like, and herbaceous, paired with an appetizing Sugar coated Palmier accord that is sweet, buttery, and caramelized. The fragrance achieves 20% concentration with two weeks of maturation and two weeks of maceration. Passion Fruit and Frankincense link the opposing facets with their citrusy and woody aspects, while Sandalwood, Indian Papyrus (Cypriol), and Vanilla bring depth and sensuality.

Activation Details

The caterpillar installation creates a visual focal point within Bloomingdale’s Dubai Mall, inviting visitors to discover the fifth fragrance in the Secret Garden Collection. Photography of the activation was captured by @fleystars, showcasing the immersive retail experience. The timing aligns with Bloomingdale’s promotional push for the Love Hibiscus launch across its Middle East locations.

Secret Garden Collection

Love Hibiscus joins four existing perfumes in the Secret Garden Collection, each pairing a floral note with a gourmand facet to explore expressions of contemporary femininity. The collection artwork was created by Belgian artist Louise Mertens, representing the infusion of botanical and sweet elements. The fragrances are positioned as floral gourmand compositions that invite wearers into Amouage’s interpretation of vivacious, uncompromising femininity.

Retail Presence

Amouage maintains a significant presence in Dubai Mall through both its standalone boutique and concessions at Bloomingdale’s. The brand, founded in 1983 in the Sultanate of Oman, draws from its rich Omani heritage to blend East and West, using rare ingredients to create sophisticated, artistic perfumes with opulent projection and long lasting sillage.
