Berluti Opens a 91 Sq. Metre Boutique at Shenzhen MIXC

The boutique offers customers a complete introduction to the world of Berluti, from shoes and leather goods to ready to wear. Rather than presenting these categories as separate elements, the store leads visitors through a sequence of connected spaces, each designed to highlight a different part of the Maison’s identity.

The experience begins at the façade, which immediately references the origins of Berluti. Handcrafted ceramic tiles have been created in homage to the Alessandro, the lace-up shoe designed by founder Alessandro Berluti.

The Alessandro remains one of the Maison’s most important models and is widely recognised for its single piece construction, clean lines and refined silhouette. The tiles reflect the character of the iconic shoe while drawing on the rich, varied tones of Berluti’s Patina.

Their deep colours echo the possibilities of Venezia leather, the Maison’s signature leather known for its ability to take on unique, hand applied colour treatments. The result is a façade that feels connected to both the history of the house and the expressive artistry of its leatherwork…
