Clive Christian Opens a Radical Dubai Mall Flagship With Victorian Woodwork and Chrome Sofas

Clive Christian Perfume has opened a new flagship at The Dubai Mall, bringing an unexpected mix of British Victorian heritage and futuristic design to one of the world’s leading luxury retail destinations. Created with Harry Nuriev, Founder and Head of Crosby Studios, the boutique uses Victorian woodwork, reflective chrome seating and a sculptural pink fireplace to create a fragrance experience that begins before a customer smells a perfume.

The new store marks Clive Christian’s first dedicated boutique in the Middle East and introduces the British perfume house to a new audience in Dubai. It also serves as the exclusive launch location for Kinam, a new oud fragrance made with rare agarwood.

A Boutique That Breaks Convention The Clive Christian flagship is located on the first floor of The Dubai Mall, placing the British fragrance house in the heart of Downtown Dubai’s luxury retail district.

The location gives the brand access to both local fragrance collectors and the global visitors who travel through Dubai each year. Rather than replicating a traditional perfume boutique, Clive Christian has created a space that plays with contrast.

Victorian wood panelling sits beside highly reflective chrome furniture, while ornamental heritage details are brought into tension with sculptural contemporary forms. The result is a store that feels more like a design installation than a standard retail environment…
