Lululemon Refreshes Hysan Place With Community Spaces and Flexible Retail Lighting

Lululemon’s refreshed Hysan Place store in Hong Kong combines product shopping with spaces intended for community connection. Lighting partner LPA Lighting says its Asia team handled lighting design and supply for the Causeway Bay project, adapting the scheme to a store with more than one purpose.

The approach places community alongside merchandise within the same environment, rather than treating it as a separate off-site activity. Lighting across the customer journey Project photographs show an entrance framed by warm-toned surfaces, illuminated apparel displays and a curved product presentation area.

Full-height mirrors and softer lighting appear in the fitting-room environment, while broader retail views show merchandise arranged around the central floor. Those different settings call for lighting that supports both product visibility and the atmosphere of each area.
